Sweet Potato Wedges

This little recipe is a quick way to have a delicious and nutritious snack! They are a perfect snack to have during the day and to accompany a meal such as grilled chicken.

Ingredients:
- 3 Small sweet potatoes/2 medium size
- 2 table spoons of olive oil
- A good pinch of salt
- Half a tea spoon of garlic
- 3 tea spoons of italian seasoning
- Ground pepper to taste

Step 1 - Preheat your oven to 190 degrees Celsius in a fan oven.
Step 2 - Give the potatoes a good wash and scrub to remove any dirt.
Step 3 - Chop your sweet potatoes in half then keep halving them until you have small wedges and place them into a large bowl.
Step 4 - Mix all of your dry ingredients together in a small bowl.
Step 5 - Drizzle the olive oil over the sweet potatoes and mix well.







Step 6 - Shake the dry ingredients over the top layer of the potatoes.
Step 7 - Mix extremely well until a light coating covers the potatoes.
Step 8 - Pour the sweet potatoes onto a baking tray, making sure that they are all flat for an even bake.
Step 9 - Leave them for 10 minutes then turn them over, leave them for another 10 minutes.
Step 10 - Finally turn the heat up to 210 degrees Celsius for 5 minutes to lightly crisp.

A little tip as well, I put my sweet potatoes once cooked into the bowl I mixed them in as the have some of the oil and seasonings still it to give it that extra bit of flavour!
